HP Pavilion SE 14-ep0520sa 14" Laptop - Intel® Core™ i7, 512 GB SSD, Silver | Currys.
HP, one of my all time favourite and most
reliable brands in the technology sector have recently released this laptop. HP
laptops from my experience are known to stand the test of time. I still have a
laptop I bought from them 8 years ago, that still works to this day! I have
another, faster HP that I purchased just over a year ago, that still works as
if it were new.
Okay, so the brand is good, what about the
laptop? There are a few features that caught my eye instantly. Firstly, the i7,
13th Generation processor is one of the fastest and most
up-to-date processors on the market. Secondly, they have listened to customers
and feedback they were getting about the keyboard design/style. A common
criticism I receive on HP laptops is that it can be difficult to see the
letters, due to the keys being the same colour as the base of the keyboard.
However, on this model, they have used a darker grey to distinguish the keys
from the keyboard. Lastly, it’s got an in-built privacy shutter, something that
I never really see on HP laptops, but thought it was a pretty cool addition
nonetheless!
Besides that, you’ve got the usual jazz that can
be expected with Windows laptops these days. 16GB RAM, plethora of ports, fast,
reliable Bluetooth and an anti-glare screen.
Only real downside I can see with this product is
no numeric keypad. However, it is extremely common in 14” models.
Conclusion: Price is £699, if you’re looking for
a powerful new laptop, with some cool features that’s super light and portable,
this is the one for you. It certainly gets my seal of approval!
